LEAK PREVENTION RESOLUTION: Gutter and Downspout Replacement
At this property in Portland our team replaced the gutters and downspouts because of rainfall overflow issues. We replaced the existing 5 inch gutters and 2x3 downspouts with 6 inch gutters and 3x4 corrugated downspouts. Our team installed a downspout debris filter strainer on every downspout for an easy way to clean the debris that fall into the gutters.
Replacing gutters can prevent leaks by addressing wear and tear, improper installation, corrosion, and outdated materials. New gutters ensure proper alignment, better materials, and improved sealing, reducing the chances of leaks and potential water damage to your property.
Address Wear and Tear: Old gutters deteriorate, developing cracks and holes over time, leading to leaks.
Correct Improper Installation: Properly installed gutters reduce gaps and misalignments that cause leaks.
Prevent Corrosion: New gutters resist rust and corrosion, preventing holes and weak spots.
Ensure Proper Sloping: Replacing gutters allows for proper alignment and slope for better water drainage.
Upgrade to Better Materials: Modern gutters offer improved seals and stronger materials, minimizing the risk of leaks.
